Dear Friends,
As I have reflected over the past 4 years, my heart is overwhelmed with thanksgiving for the incredible things that God has done. From the first service until today, lives are being touched and transformed by the power of God. I am grateful for the commitment of those of you who have come alongside to shoulder this life-changing ministry.
We believe that people matter to God and that they ought to matter to us; therefore, our passion to reach people both inside and outside the family of God is stronger than ever!
The next season for our church is not for the faint of heart. As we move through our BRIX (Building Roots In Christ) spiritual growth campaign, it is my prayer and the prayer of my family, Bayside Leadership Team, staff and Campaign Leadership team that God will open up new doors of opportunity for our church and community. With the success of the BRIX campaign, we will be able to have a permanent facility that will enable Bayside West Community Church to be more effective as a caring, ministering and mission-minded church. The proposed new facilities will include:
• Additional space to provide an engaging environment to expand our children’s, youth and adult ministries.
• A large Worship Center which will allow our church to fulfill our mission: “To lead people into a life changing, growing relationship with Jesus Christ”
• Midweek opportunities for seminars, classes and bible studies with provided childcare
It will take all of us sacrificing together….
One person cannot shoulder the whole project. All of us must pull together as a family and do our part and give our share. Our campaign’s prevailing theme is, “Not Equal Giving, but Equal Sacrifice.” This theme challenges us to do the extraordinary, to give “over and above” sacrificially, for the next three years. To sacrifice means to willingly give the best I have for a greater purpose. We cannot all give the same amount, but we can all have an equal part in the Lord’s work.
I have been praying for those who would receive and read this exciting challenge. We are now on the verge of unprecedented opportunities to minister to our community, but we need the tools. Please pray and ask God,“Lord, what do you want to do through me to accomplish your will for Bayside West Community Church.?
Let’s give our best and make a difference for eternity.
I love being your Pastor,
Chuck

Letter from the Director
Dear Friends:
It takes more than just a building to make a church – it takes people; people who have fellowship with one another and! most importantly, with God, as a result of having been touched by His power and love.
Through this fellowship, we are launching out in faith with the BRIX capital stewardship campaign, believing that our people are going to experience spiritual growth and fulfill the vision that God has given for the church.
The prevailing theme of our capital stewardship campaign! “Not Equal Giving, but Equal Sacriflce,” is a great challenge to us all. As we prayerfully seek God and do His will in this matter, we will grow spiritually as we walk in faithful obedience.
The commitments we make during this campaign will be very important to the future of Bayside West Community Church. Together, under God’s leadership and direction, we will achieve an exciting victory for our Lord, and for it, give Him all the praise and glory.
Sincerely,
Debbie Harris
BRIX Campaign Director
