Dear Bayside West Family,
Two years ago we had a BRIX (Building Roots in Christ) Commitment Sunday Celebration Service. Through your sacrificial giving God has done so many incredible things…
On August 29th, 2010 we held our first worship services and dedicated the building to the Lord. Since then God continues to bless us and we are as committed as ever to letting our community know that they matter to God, we matter to each other, and their kids matter to us.
We’ve seen:
▪ 270 Decisions for Christ
▪ 54 People Baptized
▪ 400+ People meeting in Life Groups or Bible studies
▪ 5,000 people attend our Easter Fun Day
▪ 3,000 people attend Trunk or treat
▪ 1,500 people at Easter 2012 with 71 decisions for Christ that week.
I’ve said it before, “Great facilities help facilitate great ministry.” Truly God has blessed us with a great facility. Because of our new building we’ve been able to start:
▪ Middle School Worship Band
▪ High School Sunday morning study
▪ Hosting the Gathering Inn (with the help of over 60 volunteers)
▪ 100 Days of Fitness (300 participants)
▪ Sewing, Knitting and Crochet Ministry
▪ Craftsmen for Christ
▪ Healing Hearts Ministry
▪ Quest Senior Ministries
▪ Divorce Care
▪ Celebrate Recovery (Beginning June 13th, 2012)
▪ Grief Care
Thanks be to God for His great provision for us as a church. May we continue to be good stewards of all He has blessed us with.
